Yes, it does.
But to achieve these same results, you must do the following:
Shave every day
for a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks to allow your beard to adjust to
your new AXIS shaver. Your first week will require very light
touch shaving to prevent razor burn. After your second week you
should be able to push a little harder. By now your blades and
screens will be adapting to the oil in your skin. Week three
will allow you to go full force and experience the smoothest and
closest shave yet.
Only after this period will you
achieve the optimum shaving closeness for your particular beard
type. Even the oiliness of your skin can factor in this process.
For either your foil or rotary shaver, refer to the users manual
for instructions on how to shave. If you can’t find yours,

1.
For your new rotary shaver, use
circular strokes as you move up and down your face combined with
short up and down vertical strokes. Don't press too hard as you
shave. Also, shave against the grain of your normal hair growth
pattern. And finally, stretch your skin taught as you shave the
hard to reach areas under the chin, in the neck, on the
cheekbone, under your nose, and below your bottom lip.
2.
For your new foil shaver, again
refer to the manual for specific instructions on how to shave.
Either shaver
can be used with a pre-shave toner such as William’s Lectric
Shave®. This skin toner uses alcohol to tighten the skin on the
face and neck, forcing the beard to stand up straight.
